Our root beer floats came out much better than we expected. I think the rim came out very well and the overall appearance of the float was very nostalgic reminding me of going to Red Robins for my birthday as a child and ordering a shake. Not that it mattered very much but the taste was also great. We definitely did have some struggles, our biggest I believe was our simplicity. Many other students in our food design class used more advanced decorating methods or designs. The photos initially were not the best, but I edited one to the point I'm actually pretty happy with the way it came out. Another benefit of our simple float was that we had lots of time to take and edit pictures. We were definitely not without struggles during photos, the location we had picked to shoot in was not as good as we had initially thought but we made do with editing. My partner also accidentally spilled one of the drinks halfway through the shoot.
